In Memory of Dr. Russ, The Calf Doctor

The Calf Doctor, Russ Schnepper DVM, graduated from the University of Illinois Veterinary College in 1959. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Dr. Schnepper was an active member of the Jaycees, raced his own horses, flew his own plane, loved golf and was a world traveler; having visited over 50 countries on six continents.

Dr. Schnepper practiced veterinary medicine in Southwest Wisconsin for 54 years. During that time he owned Lancaster Veterinary Clinic and served as president of Schnepper International. Although W5 Calf Products, LLC is not a provider of veterinary services Dr. Schnepper’s work was instrumental in developing many of the products we have available. Dr. Schnepper was born on December 19, 1931 and passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013.
